Athens Hotel was exceptional both in great position and location. Let down a little by some poor service standards and

Apart from two staff at breakfast and two at reception the rest were very ordinary. Bar staff in the evening were very poor service and looked like they didn’t want to be there similar to many at reception.

Great location walkable to everything.
This location is perfect. Close to the Acropolis and an excellent view from the roof top restaurant. Very close to the Acropolis metro station. Staff was very helpful and helpful. Room was very clean.
Air conditioning was a bit weak but not too bad.

Great location, friendly stuff bathroom need a make up!
We had a lovely night but I did find very disappointing that a 5star hotel has bathrooms with plastic old hair dryer attached to the wall which you normally see in lower categories and the plastic curtain on the bathtub.
